Woodblock on Somerset Smooth (250gsm)

h: 49 w: 50 d: 1 (cms).

'the hand that feeds' is a woodblock print, with 1 printed on somerset smooth and the other printed on Gampi paper. It was inspired by the popular idiom "biting the hand that feeds you", meaning to reject that which is given to you, and serves as a reminder to be grateful for what you have been given. Perhaps not everything you receive should be accepted, some things you receive only because it may benefit the person who has gifted it, the hand. This print aims to remind those that those that feed you may also starve and posion you.

£700 (As exhibited.)

"Pub Fights" is a reduction woodblock print, depicting the various pub and streets fights seen near my local pubs. Intially designed as endpaper, it was inspired by pattern papers found in Germany and France in the 18th century.
