This etching is the third in a narrative series ‘Strong’s the Word’. It depicts an imagined private event; a hidden beauty not intended for humans to witness. In my work, I love thinking about secret beauty and unwatched triumph and goodness that takes place in the world. I believe that, though often the deprivation of the world seems loud and impenetrable, there is a huge amount of good that is also happening in the world, quiet and secret and beautiful and strong.
