This body of work is based on the word “Silk.” The influence is the work of silk artisans in Japan which in turn is made into the kimono. This work is at the proposal stage. I am also interested in bringing that process into my 2d screen printing. The sketches are based on the looms that create that silk braiding: Kumihimo.
