Forest and Ferns is a secret, hidden space that invites the imagination. It feels inaccessible, with a barrier of bracken and messy tangles protecting the perfect hideaway within the branches of a fallen tree. I discovered this moment in nature as I repeated my walking route after the rain had passed. This walk’s purpose was to explore how changing light transforms the landscape and makes ordinary and overlooked things beautiful.
