A multi plate etching, using overlap and different inks to try to suggest something of that sensation of passing through the city and the many people who inhabit it. Drawn on copper plate from sketches made whilst travelling across town to work, again the way that printmaking always suggests that there might be more in this initial image, that can be experimented with - somehow the process keeps generating more possibilities…
