Kitchen lithogtraphy
h: 30 w: 30 d: 1 (cms).
"Hedgehog" is a limited edition autolithograph developed as part of a series during an artist residency in Ireland. This print explores the theme of multiculturalism by featuring three distinct languages: Irish, English, and Chinese. The central focus is a hedgehog, a creature that exists in all three cultural environments. The work itself was produced using the Kitchen Lithography method, an accessible and non-toxic approach that I researched during the residency with the aim of democratizing the printmaking process. Through this shared symbol and accessible technique, the artwork seeks to create a powerful connection, using the universal language of imagery to foster understanding and dialogue between different cultures and languages.
