Reduction linocut
h: 38 w: 27 d: 1 (cms).
This was my first reduction print, with 12 layers and about 14 colours used. Planning and problem-solving are the aspects of printmaking that I love most, breaking down a design into a series of logical steps, and this was a very satisfying example of that. This print connects my science and my art, which is always a nice direction to go. Image size is 19 x 27 cm on 26.5 x 19 cm Awagami Masa paper, printed with a book press using Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash inks.
