Reduction linocut

A multi-block, reduction linocut that is an excuse to play with texture, reality, colour and abstraction. Phaeton the son of the sun god drives the chariot of the sun. Losing control and after many complaints Zeus strikes Phaeton. His dead body falls and his sisters are turned to black poplars as they mourn him.
