clay monotypia
h: 43 w: 33 d: 1 (cms).
This work is created using a clay monoprint process, where slips, oxides and pigments are worked directly onto a clay surface and transferred onto Reemay fabric. The image is built through layering, removal and spontaneous mark-making, allowing the material to guide the final composition. Folige explores organic growth and the rhythm of foliage. The vertical forms suggest a dense, living structure where light and shadow move through layered surfaces. The process leaves visible traces of pressure, texture and time, emphasizing the physicality of the print. Each work is a unique, hand-pulled print.

clay monotypia
h: 43 w: 33 d: 1 (cms).
This work is part of an ongoing exploration of clay monoprinting, where the image is transferred from a clay surface onto Reemay fabric. The process combines drawing, layering and direct physical interaction with the material, allowing both control and unpredictability to shape the final image. The composition is based on floral forms, but moves between representation and abstraction. The line work emerges from the transfer process, creating a shifting boundary between structure and dissolution. The surface carries traces of movement, pressure and time, giving the image a tactile, almost fragile presence. Each work is a unique, hand-pulled print.

clay monotypia
h: 40 w: 40 d: 1 (cms).
This work develops through a more gestural and immediate approach to clay monoprinting. Pigments, slips and marks are built up on the clay surface and transferred in a single, decisive process onto Reemay fabric. The circular format creates a contained field where movement, rhythm and pressure become central. The image unfolds through layers of colour, splashes and drawn lines, balancing between control and spontaneity. The process captures a moment of energy, where the material actively participates in forming the composition. Each work is a unique, hand-pulled print.
