The Poem which inspired this print is called 'Hope' by Clara Ann Thompson and features a whale dive beneath small sail boat. The theme for this series of prints is wildlife by the sea. I have made a series of twleve prints that are inspired by a particular animal, bird or place on the coast of the beautiful British Isles. Using the inspiration of a captivating and evocative poem I have woven words into a lino print which breaths life into the imagination. It was printed on my homemade wooden printing press here in Northamptonshire
