I’m Kathy Ross, a fine art printmaker with a deep-rooted passion for relief printmaking and illustration. My creative journey is guided by a fascination with ancient stories—especially the rich symbolism found in Celtic mythology and Nordic folklore. Animals play a central role in my work, not just as subjects, but as powerful figures that bridge the natural and the mystical. I see them as messengers, guardians, and shape-shifters that move between worlds, carrying the essence of forgotten magic.

Each print I create is an invitation into a dreamscape where bold lines and intricate textures echo the timelessness of myth. My practice is both meditative and exploratory, allowing me to honour tradition while pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. Based in Ireland, I continue to be inspired by its landscapes and legends, crafting art that speaks to wild hearts and wandering spirits.
